5 of our favorite Clone Trooper Minifigures

With the news that Disney has resurrected the ‘Clone Wars’ Tv series I thought I would share 5 of my all-time favourite Clone Trooper mini figures. Some of these figures may be iconic and some I just think are cool. So without further ado here are 5 of my favourite Clone Trooper Minifigures

ARC Trooper – Pack No.9488

Originally released in 2012 as part of the ‘Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid’ Battle Pack, this is the ARC Trooper. This minifig looks absolutely amazing. I just love the colour scheme mixing the burgundy with white black and grey and includes the footprinting detail which is outstanding. One of my favourite features of this mini-fig is the helmet which as far as I am aware is unique to this minifigure. I love the design, how solid it feels and just the overall look. The detail on the torso print is excellent, and I like the backpack also. Overall, I think this minifigure really stands out as being unique and that’s why It makes my top 5.

ARF Trooper – Pack No.9488

So our next minifigure comes from the same battle pack as the last.  This is the ARF Trooper from pack 9488 Again, I think this ‘Trooper’ looks so cool. Colour matched with the Ark Trooper it follows the burgundy / white design which I think looks amazing. I love the helmet design, I really think it gives this minifig a sinister look. The red markings on the helmet give it that extra bit off detail which really tops it off nicely. A nice classic design on the torso, and the with the long blaster this is a must-have.

Geonosis Airborne Clone Trooper – Pack No. 75089

Clone airborne troopers, also known as clone paratroopers, were clone troopers who were specially trained for high-altitude drops. Geonosis Clone Troopers were the clone troopers deployed during the Battle of Geonosis, the first battle of the Clone Wars. With special armour and equipment for descending through the atmosphere of hostile planets like Geonosis.

The Geonosis Airborne Clone Trooper’s legs are Medium Nougat with a brown hip joint and features printing for the clone trooper’s armour, including a dark tan left kneepad, and a tan and dark tan camouflage pattern on each leg above the kneepads and on the top part of the leg joint. The trooper’s body is again nougat and brown with the dark tan camouflage. It features two printed bandanas and three ammunition packs which is a really nice detail. I love the detail put into the helmet design which includes a larger breather in the centre and the thin visor. Overall I think this is a really striking minifigure I love the colours and the small details.

Commander Gree (Phase II) – Pack No 75151

Next up we have commander Gree. So I really like the episode 3 version (or Phase II) I am loving the green camouflage design and the overall detail on the torso is superb. There really isn’t too much to say about this minifigure other than I’m a huge fan and I think its overall design looks really amazing.

Commander Cody – Pack 7959

Last but not least we have the Iconic Commander Cody. So if your not aware of Cody here is a little bit of background. Cody (real name CC-2224) was assigned to Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi during the clone wars. He was a very loyal veteran of many battles. Cody served Obi-Wan until the battle of Utapau, where Cody received order 66 and ordered his men to fire. (WHY? CODY WHY?)

The minifigure itself is white and orange with Ark trooper armour. His helmet is unique to this minifigure with an orange stripe fin and detail around the comm-system. This is one of those iconic minifigures that is a must have for any collector.
