LEGO® Star Wars Juniors Rumors

According to the latest rumors, 2019 will see LEGO® bring out a new line of LEGO® Star Wars sets which will apparently be LEGO® Star Wars Juniors.

That is correct everyone, if the rumours are to be believed we will see LEGO® Star Wars Juniors sets next year, and I’m pretty excited about this. I love the thought of LEGO® Star Wars becoming more accessible to younger children.

We don’t have any concrete details as of yet so obviously no images of new sets, but it will be interesting to see what designs LEGO® has in store for us.

Prices should be around the same as other LEGO® Juniors sets, so prices should range from around £15 – £30.

We should be expecting an iconic X-Wing fighter, again no details of what to expect with this design but I know 5-year-old me would love this. This should come with an iconic minifigure I’m guessing Pilot Luke, as well as maybe some other resistance pilots

Along with the X-Wing, it’s safe to say that there will be a release of a Tie Fighter. Again I’m not expecting grand elaborate builds, the design for all these sets I imagine will be rather simplistic, especially if looking at similar LEGO® Juniors sets is anything to go by. As for minifigures, again we aren’t sure what you will get with the set but looking at other LEGO® Juniors sets, LEGO® seem keen on adding key iconic characters, so it wouldn’t be too much to say that the Tie Fighter will come with either some Stormtroopers or Darth Vader.

Another LEGO® Juniors set rumored to be released at the moment is an A-wing. This should be the cheapest of the three. We’ve just seen a release of an A-Wing Microfighter, so it will be interesting to see what differences there are between the two sets, I’m imagining they will be pretty similar in size and parts. With this set, we should see an A-Wing pilot, as well as maybe an iconic character such as Han or maybe Lando.

The final rumoured Juniors set is the Death Star. What we will get in the juniors line is unknown but it is rumored to be around $50 which is far cheaper than we’ve ever seen before. No details as with the rest of the sets but I would imagine it will be one big build spit into multiple rooms. As for minifigures, we could see Obi-Wan, Leia, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Luke, Chewbacca, but again at such a low price we don’t normally see LEGO® give away that many figures.
